Entertainment PR agency Rogers & Cowan has promoted Alan Nierob and Fran Curtis to co-presidents of entertainment worldwide.
“Alan and Fran are essential parts of the Rogers & Cowan family, and have always put forth an unparalleled level of energy and expertise in all areas of our business on behalf of our clients and our company,” chairman Paul Bloch said in a statement.
Nierob started at the company as an intern and rose through the ranks to become executive vp, representing numerous actors and filmmakers, heading awards campaigns and repping celebrity-authored books. His client list includes John Boyega, Chris Pratt, Jamie Foxx, Denzel Washington and Mel Gibson.
Nierob was responsible for Caitlyn Jenner’s media rollout this year, including the Diane Sawyer sit-down interview and the Vanity Fair cover, as well as the E! TV series.
Curtis previously served as executive vp, during which time she led worldwide PR efforts for numerous world tours and album, television and documentary releases. She represents big names like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Andrea Bocelli and Chelsea Handler, as well as HBO and Showtime.
The naming of Nierob and Curtis as co-presidents will mark the first time Rogers & Cowan has had an executive in the president role since co-founder Warren Cowan was named president in 1950.
In addition to the Nierob-Curtis announcement, Richard Davis has been given the dual titles of COO and CFO.
During his time as the western CFO at CMG, Davis over saw the financial affairs for holdings including Rogers & Cowan, Dailey, Weber Shandwick (Western Region), Current and the Axis Agency.
